The study pathway is a tool we have designed to help you work through our practice materials in a way that best suits your needs.
When you first sign in to your E2Language account, you will see this video of Jay on your home page:
Watch this video then click "Create Study Pathway" underneath it. You will be asked a few questions about the score you need in your test and the skill areas you feel you need to work on. The pathway will be generated based on your answers.
If you click on Filter next to Study Pathway, you can control how much of your pathway you see. For example, if you tick Show completed tasks you can see what you have already finished.
If you are short of time, you can consider selecting 'Essentials only' or 'Essentials & High' to use only our most important materials. If you have more time and/or would like to complete our full set of course materials, selecting 'All' might be a good idea.
You can also recreate the pathway if you have completed it or if your needs change. Simply scroll down to the bottom part of the pathway and click Re-create. This will prompt you to re-answer the questions about your score and skill areas.
In fact, you do not need to follow the study pathway, or use it at all. You can access the practice materials via Course on the left-hand side of your student dashboard and you can do them in any order you like. It's up to you!
