### **1. What is CELPIP General and who is it for?**
The **CELPIP-General Test** assesses a test-taker’s English listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. It is officially designated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent resident status and is also accepted for professional designations in Canada.
