How do I improve my OET Medicine (Doctors) Writing?

The OET Medicine (Doctors) Writing section tasks you to write a Medical Letter based on a set of case notes.

The best way to improve your score in one of these is to:

1. Register to E2’s OET Medicine (Doctors) course.
2. Watch the Writing Overview & Methods lessons which outline the format of the question and teach the E2 method to answer the question and score high.
3. Try the Practice Tests, these replicate the questions in the test and will allow you to apply what you learnt in the methods lesson and build confidence.
4. Complete an Assessment with personalized Teacher feedback to identify exact areas of improvement or take a 1-on-1 Tutorial with one of our expert teachers. You can submit writing for an assessment, or bring writing to a tutorial for on-the-spot feedback.

To access the writing lessons and activities, log in and select Course Materials from the left-hand menu. Expand your test course, select the Writing tab, then choose the relevant question type. The Overview & Methods lessons and Practice Activities will be listed there.
